Who We Are

The MOMS Club® of Douglasville, GA is a local chapter of International MOMS Club®. We are "MOMS Offering Moms Support." MOMS Club® is a non-profit support group for stay-at-home mothers in Douglasville, Lithia Springs, and Winston. Mothers of any age children are welcome as are pregnant moms.

Our club was founded in June 2009 by Candice and Melicent. Since then, we have grown from 6 members to over 40!  We have found a place for support and friendship and hope you will too.

As a member of The MOMS Club® of Douglasville, you will be invited to enjoy many activities each month including play-dates, field trips, story times, group walks and monthly Moms' Night Out. In addition, we strive to make a difference in our community and set a positive example for our kids through meaningful service projects. We are local moms who come together to offer one another support, resources, and friendship. As you raise your children and build a social network, MOMS Club® of Douglasville is here to support you!

If you live in the Douglasville area and are interested in coming as a guest to our next meeting, we'd love to hear from you! Email us at  and we will get back to you soon with more information.

If you're not within these boundaries, contact the International MOMS Club® to find out which chapter serves your area.

What We Do

Part of being in the MOMS Club® is taking part in the many activities and events that are organized by our volunteers.  Most events are held during the day and children are welcome to all events.  Some of our current and past activities include:

Playgroups and Play parties - Many of our activities revolve around kids playing while MOMS catch up with each other.

MOMS Night Out and MOMS Night In - Each month, we plan one evening event for moms to get together without the kids.  However, nursing infants are always welcome! Many of our members say that the membership fee is well worth this monthly opportunity alone!

Monthly Business Meetings - Each month, usually on the first Thursday, a business meeting is conducted by the club President to update members on club news. At some meetings, we may have a guest speaker, as well as, activities for the children.

Guest Speakers - From time to time, we invite a guest speaker to our monthly business meetings.  Some past speakers have included a pediatric dentist, a personal trainer, a child librarian, and a local school board official.

Community Service Projects - We perform many community service activities throughout the year. Some activities have included: assisting The Pantry in distributing Thanksgiving meals to those in need, collecting donations for The Share House and Douglas County Foster Care, collecting expired coupons for military families and donations for Toys for Tots.

Helping Hands - Meals are provided by MOMS for MOMS who need that little extra assistance, especially following the birth of a baby, an illness, or a personal loss.

Field Trips - We have outings for moms and their children. Just a few of these activities include a tour of our local fire station, a trip to an area farm, a day at the park, and ice cream socials.

Monthly Newsletter - We publish a monthly newsletter which contains news of interest to our members, a discussion of upcoming community service events, a letter from the club president, and other important information. The newsletters are emailed at the beginning of the month.
